Whittier Wedding Photography: Dennis + Kara ... Sneak Peek!

This weekend I had the chance to photograph Dennis and Kara commit their lives to each other.  They married in a beautiful ceremony at the First United Methodist Church, whose high gothic arches I just loved!  The ceremony was followed by an intimate backyard reception in one of Whittier's historic homes.  It was the parlour in the historic home that inspired the first of their two "sneak peek" images!  Enjoy! :)

I recently got together with my friend & sorority sister, Karen, to do a photoshoot with her kiddos.  I love keeping shoots -- especially those with kids -- light & lively.  Karen's shoot was no exception.  I think it's a nice balance between goofy faces, bunny ears, and happy smiles! :)

Huntington Beach Baby Photography: Kailee

I recently had the chance to photograph 4 month old Kailee. She was such a doll, and was all smiles through wardrobe changes and "set" changes.  I just love this phase, when babies start grabbing their feet and noticing the world around them!  I can't wait to start experiencing those changes for myself, soon.  I have less than 6 weeks until my own baby is due! :)

Huntington Beach Family Photography

Now that summer is coming to an end, I wanted to share a summer evening with you all.  There's nothing like the beach ... I love the salty air, the sand between my toes, and the utter relaxation that I get from the crashing waves.  I did the Barr family's Huntington Beach photoshoot earlier this summer, and I love seeing Jakson try so hard to stand up, since he's walking on his own now!  Here are a few of my favorites from the session:

Fullerton Engagement Photography: Diana + Cesar

I recently met up with Diana and Cesar for their engagement session.  I just love photographing former bridesmaids-turned-brides.  It's so much fun!  Both Diana and Cesar had fabulous outfits and just exuded style.  I love when my brides have a vision for exactly how they want to look, and go the extra length to make it happen.  Everything down to the Carlos Santana stilletos was perfect!

P.S. Diana used this Salma Hayek ensemble as inpiration for her outfit ... and I definitely think Diana gave Salma a run for her money! ;)
