Brandy + Devin: Married ... Sneak Peek!

On Saturday I photographed Brandy + Devin's wedding. They did an amazing job pulling together a hugely personal event that included references to Shakespeare, ballet, comic books, and Kabbalah in their ceremony. I have lots and lots of editing to do before the images are ready ... but here's a sneak peek at my favorite shoe shot! =)

Just for Fun: Sun Flare

I spent a few days in San Francisco last week. Clouds rolled in & out, and rain occasionally fell, but the first morning there I woke to a beautiful clear sky. I spent a few minutes catching sun flare from my hotel room as the sun rose over a church tower. I think sun flare adds such a touch of romance to an image.

Here ya go ... something a little different =)

Kay: Maternity

I recently did a beautiful early-morning maternity session with my friend Kay. I don't get to see Kay very often because she lives out of state, so it was fun to see her twice in one weekend ... for her baby shower on Saturday, and her photography session on Sunday. I am so glad that were were able to schedule this maternity session (and that the weather held up for us!), because they photographs turned out gorgeous!

A maternity session is a beautiful chance for a woman to celebrate her growing pregnant body. Most women are crowned with a beautiful 'baby bump' only a few times in their life. If you have considered having maternity photographs done, I highly recommend it. The best time is during the last month or two of your pregnancy. Biggest Thing I've Ever Won!

Ok, so anyone who has ever seen me shoot knows that I carry my ShootSac on me at all times. I absolutely love it, and the Damask cover is to die for. Angela + Kevin: Engaged!

I love it when a couple can cut loose and be themselves in front of my camera. Angela and Kevin did a great job at playing & seeming to forget that I was there. It is so much fun to photograph a couple in love, and have the opportunity to photograph the nuances of their relationship. It was a really fun engagement session in my new favorite nature location ... & we got out of there before the rain started back up! =)

Angela + Kevin: Sneak Peek!

I woke up this morning and listened for rain. A few weeks ago, we postponed Angela & Kevin's engagement session because of heavy downpours, and I didn't want to postpone it again. From my bed, everything seemed quiet. I got up and quickly made my way to the back door. The ground was wet, but the rain had stopped. The rain held off long enough for a beautiful engagement session dotted with wildflowers from the recent showers!

Here's a sneak peek. This one makes my heart happy =)
